Part time DUI Counselor position for a Driving Under the Influence Program. Must be licensed or in the process of getting your CE hours to get licensed. Licensed CADTP, CAEDE, CCAPP.
We are looking for someone to start with 1-2 three hour groups per week and also provide on call for other groups when counselors cannot make it. Ability to take on more groups can increase over time.
We offer in person groups and groups over Zoom.
Basic Responsibilities: Responsible to provide education, facilitate interaction groups, and monitor participant process.
Specific duties: Provide DDP services in compliance with San Bernardino guidelines and Title XI.
Conduct Face to Face interviews as required in the program standards and Title XI.
Conduct weekly interaction groups beginning and ending on time. Encourage participants to identify and resolve Alcohol/Drug related problems. Examine attitudes and Alcohol/Drug behavior.
Conduct Education sessions in accordance with Standards, and follow curriculum outlines.
Monitor sobriety in group and individual sessions.
Accurately asses and monitor participant fees.
Document all program activities, changes in program status, any program violations and correspondence.
Monitor program attendance and all program components by accurately charting on the requirements checklist and in the progress notes section of chart. All charting must be in compliance with County standards.
Attend supervisory consultation each week as necessary to facilitate case management as required by Title XI.
Bi-lingual is a plus.
